LAPP present at SPS 2025

Innovative connection solutions for tomorrow's industrial automation

From 25 to 27 November 2025, LAPP will present innovative products and intelligent solutions for industrial communication and automation at SPS, the leading trade fair for smart and digital automation in Nuremberg. In addition to the well-known stand 310 in hall 2, a second stand will be added for the first time this year, stand 322 in hall 10, dedicated to the comprehensive range of connectors of the global market leader in integrated solutions and branded products in cable and connection technology.

Industry transformation continues unabated, with digitalisation, networking and automation driving progress.

This year at SPS 2025, LAPP will show how future-oriented connection solutions and intelligent connection systems make production more efficient and sustainable - for the first time with two stands.

Two stands, one goal: making automation more consistent

At the main stand 310 in Hall 2, LAPP will present its full service portfolio: a wide range of connectivity technologies, including solutions for the automation pyramid and components for tomorrow's smart factory. On the exhibition stages, presentations on cloud connectivity, industrial communications, digital inventory management and OT security will give additional insight into how LAPP is driving automation and digitalisation in practice. And those who prefer to get to work themselves can experience live at the workbench how to quickly and safely assemble industrial connectors. Push-pull systems, the Quickflex quick-lock system and the new EPIC® Powerlock product will be on show.

Just a stone's throw away, in hall 10 at stand 322, the Stuttgart-based family company is presenting its extensive range of connectors and customised system solutions for industrial communication and control technology for the first time on a second stand. The comprehensive range of industrial connectors offers almost unlimited combination possibilities, especially in the area of patch cables and cable sets.

The future of industry is sustainable, connected and safe

Under the motto “Think Innovatively, Act Sustainably”, LAPP presents projects in the futureLab on materials, products and solutions at various stages of implementation aimed at a more sustainable and connected future. Experts from LAPP explain the link between cable cross-section and total cost of ownership and CO2 footprint - because contrary to popular belief, less material does not automatically mean lower costs or CO2 emissions. Another focus is the carbon footprint of products, which LAPP provides for a growing number of products, taking an important step towards greater transparency in the value chain. Another highlight is the ‘Predictive Maintenance for ÖLFLEX®’ solution, which monitors the condition of active cables.

Also at futureLab, LAPP and EPLAN will present an advanced use case for an administrative shell for collaborative engineering. The technology digitises and accelerates work preparation through to cable assembly lifecycle management in an efficient and automated way.

Four expert presentations on the SPS exhibition stages

LAPP also demonstrates its forward-looking focus with four presentations on the SPS exhibition stages: LAPP experts show how the LAPP eKanban IoT system automates warehouse processes and secures material supply in production through LAPP's Digital Twin Infrastructure and intelligent sensor technology. Another presentation explains how cloud connections make production data actionable, enabling companies to increase their efficiency, transparency and competitiveness in automation. In the field of industrial communications, two presentations explain the quality parameters crucial for industrial Ethernet patch cables and how field requirements and standard specifications differ, and how companies can secure their industrial networks with intelligent components while reducing cyber risks in OT infrastructure.

Secure communication for all common protocol standards

LAPP clearly demonstrates that industrial communication networks are not just a topic for the future, but are already a reality today, with products and solutions available now. LAPP will demonstrate data connectivity in a manufacturing-like environment using the automation model of a modern smart factory. Numerous LAPP experts will be present during the show to offer comprehensive advice on topics such as Single Pair Ethernet (SPE), Advanced Physical Layer (APL) and cloud connectivity. Visitors can see at a glance where the extensive LAPP product portfolio is used at all levels of the automation pyramid, from the field to the cloud, and get information on the efficient and secure design of industrial communication networks. Another important networking topic is cloud connectivity. LAPP will also demonstrate at the SPS how easy it is to connect its own IO-Link sensors to the cloud and edge via standardised IIoT protocols and monitor line status using ETHERLINE® GUARD.

The company underlines its technological expertise with numerous new products: the new EPIC® M23P connector series heralds a new era in servomotor connections. With the new ÖLFLEX® SERVO FD zeroCM hybrid cables as a single-cable solution, frequency converters and motors can be connected quickly and faultlessly. The innovative, fully electrically symmetrical cable design significantly reduces EMC interference, allowing installation lengths to be almost doubled. The HITRONIC® BxK and BTxK outdoor fibre-optic cables with high bending resistance extend LAPP's portfolio with options that allow easy installation even in confined spaces without signal loss, making them ideal for renewable energy systems and infrastructure projects with long transmission distances.

Solutions for industry, energy, mobility and intralogistics

In practical applications, complete solutions are just as important as individual, innovative components. LAPP responds to this market and customer need by presenting its comprehensive portfolio of solutions for various industries at the fair: the focus here is on renewable energy, rail technology, automation & robotics, the food & beverage industry, electromobility, battery technology and intralogistics. In particular, users benefit from LAPP's extensive expertise in wiring harness solutions through tailor-made assembly solutions in line with industry standards and complex system solutions. Individual services complement the offering and support customers throughout the production process.
